My 95 GT has been getting some pretty serious vibration in the stick above 75 mph, and it can be felt in my seat as well. At 100+ it's incredibly violent, and the whole car is buzzing, in and out of gear, clutch engaged or disengaged, any engine speed. It seems to come on earlier (75-80) when I’m in 5th vs 4th (90+). I replaced the U joints on the recently balanced aluminum driveshaft, swapped wheels, new trans mount, and I replaced the throwout and pilot bearings. This problem existed before any of these changes and seemingly hasn't gotten any better or worse after them.
I’m starting to think there’s a bad bearing in my trans. I decided to run it up to 100mph on the lift and the stick vibrated exactly like it did on the road. But I wanted to get some other opinions before I do a rebuild.
