EGR CONNECTED OR DISCONNECTED

I have the egr tubes removed and the vacuum line clogged, with the egr connected the check engine light does not automatically come out, but I have a code 332 With the egr disconnected I get a code 327 I wanted to know which option is better, to leave the egr electrically connected or disconnected. I don't really notice much difference driving the two ways, but one must be the right one.

mine has been plugged into the sensor and tucked behind the motor for over 20 years.
