Have a 96 with long tube headers going to be changing to a70mm throttle body and new intake plenum was wondering if I could just delete the eger valve instead of hooking it back up
It will save you nothing by taking it off and will cause you to fail emissions. The gains from removing the EGR stuff are 0. The only benefit to taking the EGR stuff off is a cleaner engine bay. Also, besides physically removing all the components, you will have to cap the hole. And, you'll have to turn it off in the tune, or else you'll get a check engine light.
