Hey everyone I have a 95 gt that I was replacing a vacuum line inside my passenger fender. The smog pump was removed and I have 2 lines just hanging there in which I dont know if they should be plugged or not. It was like this when I bought it. All EGR has been deleted. There is one long black hose that says EVAP on it which runs from a black box inside the fender, along the frame and ends right where my CAI filter comes out. Not hooked to anything and is open. The 2nd line in question is a white plastic line with what looks like a boot on the end that connects to nothing either. I have pictures of both lines, I just need to know what they do and if I should cap them off or if they are fine just hanging there. Thanks everyone!

that single white hose tube is the check valve on emissions
the group of tubes red fuel reg
green egr
the white check valve
they do run from behind the fender to the components on engine
it might be plugged off or eliminated missing taken off
if you google emissions on the mustang, it will show what you may be missing

Thanks man. I held my thumb over the ends of both lines while car was idling and didn't notice any difference in idle. Nor do I feel air sucking or pushing out. So I was unsure if it even mattered to plug them or leave them be

My biggest curiosity is this hose that hooks to no where by my air filter. It is just open. Its the black hose that says EVAP. Should I plug this as well?

That tube on the lower frame rail is normal. It's just a pass-through vent for the EVAP.

You can remove that 25lb ballast too, lol. It's just dead weight.

Ok so I dont have to plug the tube that you say is a EVAP pass through vent? It literally just ends around the air filter area, with an open end. I can leave it open?

I found three hard lines coming up into that fenderwell. Two of those are the fuel feed and return. The third, I believe, is the fuel tank vent. I would not recommend capping that, or a partial vacuum could form. I put a short piece of hose on that vent line, bent it downward, and put a small fuel filter on it to make sure the tank can still vent, but water and dirt cannot enter. It seems to work fine for me.
