I could use a tip on removing and installing the Exhaust manifold Flange nuts on the driver side of a stock '96 4.6l. I have previously removed them but I had a difficult time with them. do you guys recommend a certain tool to help remove these nuts so I can insert a new gasket? thanks!

I have always used an 18mm 6 point shallow or mid depth socket with a good universal swivel and a 1 foot extension.

I may have to go for a mid depth socket. I used a regular craftsman swivel (universal) and It seems to not clear all too easily. I had a hell of a time getting the one of the nuts off. Looks like ill have to give it another shot.....oh yeah at this stage pulling the motor is a no go lol
