yup and be aware getting them off takes a bit of work. You have to remove the seal, take the trim that holds the seal off and then there are a number of screws under it, as well as the front end that hold it down.

The cars pillars both sides were damaged small crack about an inch when windshield was replaced. Any thought on repairing instead of replacing?

yea those need to come off to replace the windshield, or at least to do it correctly. If they are just cracked, I would repair them. try to pry the opening open and work some epoxy in the crack and then press it back together to cure. After that a little sanding, paint/blend/clear and you can probably do it all on the car.

Thx, going to use your method. May need to layer the epoxy so it’s going to be a slow process.

I'd just go on eBay and buy the correct A pillar in your factory color off someone else's car.

Same here but just the Driver side, still bummed me out. Mine's pretty minor and you have to be looking for it, but I know it's there and I'm obnoxious so I can't NOT see it every time I get in the car. If you try the repair, I'd love to know how it went for you.

Looked into all sorts of repairs and talked to several experienced people. All agreed best to replace and repaint. I was able to find a good set of pillars at a local pick and pull car salvage yard. Both pillars cost me about $30.00 and it took me about 1 hr to remove them. Also CJ Pony has a YouTube video of how to remove them. Clean up and painting at local shop cost around $400. Good luck for your search and repair.

Thank you my friend, that's great context and good to know. The little crack hasn't gotten any worse in 3+ months so for now, I'm going to live with it.

It would be a pain in the ass to remove/fix but it is completely fixable with some epoxy/filler/paint. On the other hand, it is not going to rust but I know it would bug the heck out of me to know it was there....
