Bought the car 4.5 years ago and purchased all the Bolton's the first day I owned it. Drove it with the gears, exhaust, pulleys, t-body & TFS intake, for about a year. That's when I first saw 69clarks car and decided to get serious with mine.

Being the car was bought out of NY it had the typical NY dings in every corner of each bumper cover. That's where the Saleen kit came in. I just didn't see it fit to replace factory parts with factory parts. It just didn't make sense to me and what better than a Saleen vert? Once I had all the body panels I sent the car to my painter to give it a full resto. I had him take out every single ding and repaint the entire car including jams and trunk area.

At this point the car looked sweet but was still rolling with the stock suspension and power plant. I drove it like this for a summer and then decided to do the motor, suspension and interior.
After looking at countless threads about engine bays, I had come up with a game plan. I again took the car to my body guy and went over everything I wanted done. After he was finished with the bay It was time for the motor to go back in. Only this time it was a fresh cobra block with AFR heads. custom FTI cam and Holley intake. Once the motor was in I spent numerous hours detailing every part that went in the bay paying close attention to the way it flowed with the rest of the engine. I'm talking right down to the bolts being used.
69clark was a great help in this department as I made him look at hundreds of pics of my bay to pick out any small detail that jumped out at him. When something didn't look as though it fit it was replaced.

I also redid the stock suspension with all Maximum Motorsports and Steeda stuff.
I also pulled the gut out to revamp the interior a bit. I deleted the rear seat to make room for the nitrous set up and added fresh carpet, new Corbeau seats, autometer guages and a few custom dash pieces.

As of now the car is driven on nice weekends and to shows otherwise she sits in her home and awaits her next beating. I still, have a few tricks up my sleeve to finish this baby off but for now the plans are on hold. Maybe next winter I can finally wrap this project up and move on to the next.

Congrats man! That thing is a work of art! If I owned it, I don't even think I'd want to drive it with any other cars on the road. Beautiful ride!
