So I am wanting to ditch the stock gt emblems for the new 5.0 ones. My question to those that have done this, does the 5.0 emblems cover the holes in the fenders that are there?

I believe this is a popular mod and IIRC it does cover the holes.

Will has done it I think.

If you position them right, they will cover it. I believe the dot goes over the hole.

Sorry this is late, this is what I ended up doing and hopefully this will help you out.

Factory Coyote 5.0 badges from Ford.

I cut the pins with wire cutters and sanded them down deeper than the decal tape.

Used painters tape around the badge. Got some fishing line and went behind the badge doing a side to side motion.

Used a sharpie to mark the placement of old badges. Used "Goo Gone" to remove the adhesive on the fender. (making sure not to get it on the paint)

Removed the blue film protecting the decal tape & the number 5 covers up the factory hole.

Will, why did you get OEM ones from Ford? Something tells me they'd be over priced as all hell like 98% of the parts Ford sells... Wouldn't it of been easier to get an after market one without the pins?
