Seeing that Tranny brings back a LOT memories of my rebuilding them. Believe it or not, the 4R70W we know now, actually came out as the 'FIOD' back in 1978! It was Cable Shifted back then, and they were NOT that reliable, as our 4R70W's Electronic Shift Transmissions. I have to say thank goodness for that.

I know it wasn't covered in your Video, but many overlook FLUSHING out the Transmission Lines with a Solvent, and using Compressed Air to blow out the leftover crap, that go to and from the Radiator or Tranny Cooler. Metal and Debris could be left over in those Lines, and throw metal shavings from the Torque Converter and other old junk back into the new rebuild, and mess with the Valve Body. Just a heads up.

I always painted rebuilds SILVER, or GRAY. Nobody will see the color 'Barney' under your Mustang anyway, so it doesn't matter one way or the other. OH, I'm sorry, this is Bob, my wife Connie is in the Pic.

There is NO reward better than doing it yourself....of course, only if you have the help when you need it.
