So I figured I'd put a couple gallons of cam2 in the tank and head to MIR for the first time this year. Had a great time and met a local group of SN95 owners. One who was kind enough to get my run on video along with some great pictures. I will be posting those when I upload them.

First off. I took it to the scale. She's 3400dead-on, with me in it.

My first run of only 2 was pretty sloppy. I spun off the line then missed my 2nd to 3rd gear shift which gave me a gut punch with [email protected]. R/T-404, 60'-2.380,and 9.73 in the 1/8@75.. I wanted to go home. But hey.. It's the first run ever in this particular car and of this season.

Went back to the pits, dropped the tire pressure down to 20psi and got back to staging.
This time I held my burnout for quite a while. Then I launched it at 2500 mashed on it and BAM. Felt like I had drag radials on the car. I ended up with.. R/T-.403, 60'- 1.9!!! 8.94@77 in the 1/8, then 13.92@99 in the 1/4 mile!! Just gotta get used to launching this car. I know it'll pull a 1.7 60' on streets.

All of my mods are in my signature. This car has stock NPI heads on it with a PI Intake and PI cams and NO TUNE NOW. (Sold my SCT for Diablo COMING SOON)

So yes, a 98 2v will go high 13s without a head swap at full vehicle weight. I've read that it can't be done. I think with the diablo tune it'll do 13.6.

Enjoy the pics coming soon.

1.6 60' is really good for street tires? What's your suspension setup out back?

Or did you type-o? Slip says 1.966.

Ug, I gotta get out to the strip this year. Haven't been out in a while.

oops. Yea. 1.9. My 347 fox would pull 1.7s all day long on streets with about 20 psi in em.
