Fixed Odometer but Trip Meter Still Broken

I replaced my odometer gears because the odometer and trip had stopped working. Well now the odometer works and still not the trip. I searched and couldn't really find a cause for this. Anyone have any experience with this?

I just did mine friday and had to push the trip reset a couple times then it started. You may have not pushed the gear all the way in maybe. Did it click in? I had to push mine in a little harder than I felt necessary but it poped right in.

Thanks Ill try that

When I first put it in nothing worked so I took it all back apart and pushed on it some more and took the motor on and off again. Ill see if pressing the button a few times works.
