Yeah. I'd love to run fox wheels. They look great and are cheap. But theyre a tad aggressive for a DD.

Have a bunch of goodies coming for the focus!

So the center consol and dash are the only thing silver inside the car. I think I want to change that...

Should I paint or wrap it?

Paint - I would just do it flat/low gloss black or a dark gray.
Wrap - would do something with a texture or maybe a pattern. Something subtle though. Not usually a carbon fiber fan, but if I did a dark cf I think it could look good.

If wrap, where would you recommend ordering it from?

This is what it current looks like, excuse the dirtiness...

Focaljet! I was excited to use that site, but I found it unhelpful. Especially for mk2.

Got to work on the interior pieces.
Felt the silver was out of place, so I painted it satin black.
Good lord those panels are a pain in the ass to get out...

I scuffed the plastic and used a special adhesive spray then trim paint. Its what my paint shop recommended. It's not suppose to chip, crack or flake.

I'm happy with the results! The black adds a nice contrast, but isn't out place like the silver. I did notice the satin shows up goofy in a couple pictures, looks really nice in person.

Also did the brakes. New pads and rotors on the front, new shoes on the back. Painted everything black, I have no idea why people like to have their brakes stand out, especially the drums.

The factory brakes were still on the car... the rotors were nasty.

What it looks like now;

Also bled the clutch, there was a lot of air in there... Hopefully that makes the clutch better. So far it seems much better.

Also cleaned the air filter... good lord the previous owner must have never cleaned it. yuck. Now its all clean and freshly oiled. Gave the steeda plate a quick polish too.

Went for a quick test drive and everything feels much better. I did U turn and when I straightened out I put my foot in it and the tires let out a good scream, really surprised by that. Manual is definitely way nicer with these duratecs.

Better pictures to come, but it looks pretty damn good.
I had to shave a jam nut and shave the bezel to put it on.
Ferocious JDM yo...

It sits up really high haha, it has a short throw... going to see if the shifter height is adjustable.

I broke my giant bubble knob I had for the Mustang at the last drift event :( I was so sad. They're really awesome in the long ones, puts them right by the wheel and its great.
