Ford Performance Restock Time?

Hey guys I some rear gears for my 96 gt 4.10 gears, but the product was faulty had a bunch of chips or scratches. But called ford performance about the warranty. They say they’ll replace it. When they’re in stock. But the guys said they’ll replace have to make a new batch. I don’t know if there BSing or being honest. What you guys think? Has this happened to you?

I'd just make sure to get some verification/validation that you have inquired within the warranty period. I don't know how long the warranty period is but if it's sixty days, for example, and they don't whip out new batch in that time frame then you don't want to get screwed.

Edit: Also, they should have a ballpark timeframe for that.

It’s possible they’re waiting on a new batch Ford Performance gears are often made in runs, and if they’re out of stock, they might genuinely need to produce more. Not necessarily BS, but the wait could be long. If you need them ASAP, ask if they’ll cover a different ratio or refund. Otherwise, get the replacement promise in writing and check back often. Sucks, but it happens with niche parts.
