Front air dam fastener size?

This is probably a long shot. But does anybody know the exact size of the christmas tree style push fasteners for the 94 GT? I've had some real trouble finding some that actually fit. Specifically for the ones that hold on the front "air dam", that is near the underside of the front bumper. Just need to know the diameter in millimeters. Seems to be how those things are measured. I've tried lots of different sizes, even some various ones from kits that are supposed to be ford specific. It would be really nice to know what the real size is.

Nobody? Nobody had to replace one of these after ford stopped carrying the push in fasteners?

sure we have but are you in the habit of writing down or saving part numbers for $2-3 fasteners?

I am lucky to have a local auto body and paint store that stocks a large variety otherwise this site has the best selection I have found

I recently replaced a couple on my 99' and just used some 1/4" x 1" x1" ones that I had from a previous project. Not sure if they are the "correct" ones but they held.

I have a bunch of different ones taken out of junkyards and just shoved in something that held. no idea the size.

I got tired of the air deflector always being loose because of the crappy plastic push pins... I used 5mm riv-nuts and bolts and now it doesn't come loose.
