I have mixed feeling about aftermarket front lip spoilers. Obviously they look good on Mach 1's, but does anyone have a front lip spoiler on a factor 1994 - 1998 front bumper? If so how do you like the look? Can anyone recommend a good brand of aftermarket front lip spoiler?

I like them on certain cars like Ferocious. But other cars I think they look terrible. Depends on your car and stance.

It looks out of place unless you've gotta good drop on your car.

thats the Mach 1 spoiler. You can also mount it flush to the front of the bumper, instead of recessed like that.

check out that link above the picture I posted and click "front bumpers" and scroll through.... a LOT of good ideas in there.

Do it!
99-04 lips work on 94-98 cars as well, they are usually cheaper.

yeah there are a ton of people on here with mach spoilers on their stock bumpers. from what i've heard the 94-98 mach1 chin spoilers are actually the same as the 99-04 ones.

Correct.

The only thing that's different is the finish. Some are matte gray and others are matte black.

99-04 Mach 1 spoiler mounted flush to the front on my 1994... Going to be slamming it soon but even like this it looks amazing. totally changes the front of the car.

Install is pretty easy too. American Muscle provides nuts bolts and washers. Drilled 15 holes to do it. I did alot of measuring and used to tape to mark spots, found the dead center, drilled a hole there and used a bolt to secure it in place, work my way out from the center. Got to the last hole, pulled the middle bolt, and put it in the last hole. This can be done while on the car, but I had my bumper off anyways to replace my foglight brackets and do some wiring for my headlights and man was it simple... Best $50 I ever put into this car. It's pretty durable and flexible material too, granted if you smack a curb it won't be pretty but what do you expect from something thats is hanging off the bottom of your bumper?

I am actually going to be starting too smooth mine into the stock bumper so it all looks like one piece, today.

MUST HAVE FOR GT/V6 BUMPER! Just the bumper looks so tiny and small. I'd go for the 99-04 From American Muscle as its glossy and looks better on a black car or an sve one from Late model resto as its more of a matte black. 99-04 fit better and stick out more while 94-98 are overpriced and sit more in.

I loved the AM Mach 1 chin spoiler on mine & if I ever destroy the Roush splitters I will definitely go back to it.
