I will check my FSMs tonight when I get home, and look through the wiring to see where your issue might be. Sorry, I should have done this sooner.

Also, just as a side question, how much HP you thinking of making anyway? That pump is HUGE. On a FI application, it will flow enough to support 800 HP. If your HP goals are less lofty, like say around 600 HP, then a drop-in 255LPH would most likely work just fine, as will your stock OEM wires. The best, of course, is to run a new, larger AWG wire. But if you just don't want to, then I have to ask - why such a huge fuel pump?

Good call! If I pull the fuse I shouldn't have to worry about frying another CCRM right?

So for background, this car ran great when I decided to yank the nitrous and install a Vortech. At that same time I figured the 190lph pump I had in there wouldn't be adequate so I upgraded it and the 340 pump was only a few bucks more than the 255 so I figured why not

A single 255 will not hold 600hp with out a inline pump or boost a pump. Which both require extra wiring.. A HIGH PRESSURE 255 will do about 500..

The 340 is a good pump.. Been running one for years.. Use stock wiring in a 95 for a while then upgraded wiring when i swapped it over to the 98..

I would pull the fuse and ccrm.. Then get a volt meter and check the wiring. Make sure it's not grounding any were.. You should also be able to check the ccrm

I've been looking at wiring diagrams so I know which wires I'm dealing with

Not saying it isn't a good pump. A Walbro 255 will support about 470 rwhp. On about 80 to 85% DC. I was just wondering why the OP had chosen the 340. "Because" is a perfectly acceptable answer. I was just curious.

340 has become quiet popular.. I would not use a high pressure 255 over 450 my self.. But that's just me.. I just saying the 255 would not support FI 600 hp wheel or crank..maybe NA
