what were u shifting at by the way? i mean if u were paying attention. don't the auto's shift at 5200 at WOT without a tune?
no the 4.10's throw the computer off so it redlines before it will shift.
that is exactly right. its funny though i never had the problem untill after the pi swap. :dunno:

hmm..i dont know whats up with your guys autos....it shifts off of a speed sensor..so it shouldnt have anything to do with the gears or pi swap..should still shift fine...my tuner told me its best to shift these npi cars at around 5500 since we dont really make any power up top....i shifted at 5500 and ran a little quicker than shifting at 6000

And your speed sensor is wrong just like your speedo.

Re: full PI swap 1/4 time

OK i Went to the track last night ad got a few runs in with the new tune, but i was out of nitrous.
all runs N/A
R/T-- .312
60'-- 2.123
330'--6.043
1/8--9.243
mph---76.94
1000---11.996
1/4---14.316
mph---97.22

R/T-- -.070
60'-- 2.122
330'--6.041
1/8--9.238
mph---76.98
1000---11.990
1/4---14.311
mph---97.22

The runs are not the greatest- the track was not preped that well and my dr's are wore to nothing. I dont feel too bad about it thought here was a 02 gt supercharged that was running 13.8-13.9's -- he could shift to save his life. I also won first in the trophy bracket.

Where are you located? Are you full pi or just pi intake and heads like it says in your sig?... I feel like you should be faster

with your auto how do u launch? Do u leave off break? I dont have a tranns break but my car reacts better when i break tq it to about 2gs and leave there. I have more power but if i leave a 2000rpms off the break ill hit 1.68 60s.. If i leave at 800rpms (shocking the converter) i only get 1.9 60s

I load it up to about 2k and "drop" let off the brake. I am going to add a trans cooler though because doing this produces a lot of heat in the tranny. I havent had much track time to get my launch perfected yet but this style of lunch works the best for me

Thats wierd...Im just confused at why your trap speed is so low.

Even stock 99-04s trap 98-100.

I trapped 101-102 last time at the track with npi heads and cams, even a while back in the heat, humid, with crappy catted mid pipe I trapped 98 mph.

I just think that a pi swapped car with bolt ons, tune, and 4.10s, should be running faster.

Your cuttin 2.1 60 foots with drag radials and dead hook?

I wonder if its possible to get too much better with a stock stall.
