a guy in my town went with 4:30s in his car and he loves it...He does however want to get a converter.

he said he hardly notices any difference in anything...other than the quick acceleration :)

Motive 4:30's off American Muscle, im going to have to buy a speed calibrator though right?

yeah, speedcal. you could do the speedo gears, but they suck, and get chewed up really fast.

Dallas mustang sells speedcal.

Yes, get a Speedcal not a new speedo gear because they will
get chewed up fast.

why would you want 4.30s in a daily driver...he will be running like 3300 rpms at 70...isnt that a little high?thats just my opinion I guess

That's the same thing I am thinking.
FRPP 3.73's or Motive 3.90's are the perfect gear
for a daily driver and you will also save alot of fuel overtime
but,it's his car and he will do as he wishes.

Nope, at 3000 rpm Im at 80 mph with 4.10's. At 70 Im turning around 2600-2700.

Do you have auto?

That is correct, I have an auto with a 3000 stall.
I drive up to 45mph with the o/d off and turn it on for 45-above speeds. Fun as hell to drive.

i drive 40 miles to work and home not stop and go 70 80 90 + in my auto with 410s still get about the same mpgs and its a lot faster top end and quicker out of the hole go 410s youll be happy with them

I only buy FORD RACING gears.
They are the only gears that NO ONE has had a problem with. They are only $10 or $20 more, but WELL WORTH IT.
Plus 4.30s are a hard gear to set up. I get NO whining with my FRPP 4.30s
