Ouch!

Presuming this is their 2.95 gear kit it appears that you need the 3-4 half of the cluster gear P/N GFT502 as well as the third gear P/N GFT 504.

This generally happens when too much torque is applied to third gear. Either by too much raw power, or from using too strong of a clutch that bangs the power to the transmission on hard shifts.

So, how did it happen and how much power are you pushing the transmission with?

I know that G-Force has discontinued lots of things. These gears may not be available.
I know who to ask. I will see if I can find out.

It happened on a 2-3 shift during a hard pull. I do lift when I shift also.

I've learned over the years that over clutching a car is not a good thing. I use a low pedal effort, high clamping force King Cobra pressure plate combined with a Centerforce Dual Friction disc. This setup is gentler on the transmission during clutch dumps or hard pulls.

The engine is an 11:1 363 that regularly sees 7000rpm. It's my opinion that I overpowered the gear set. It blew in spectacular fashion. Scared the bejesus out of me.

Thanks for the offer. My tranny guy bought it back from me and replaced the gear set.
I switched to a TKX.

You probably had the upgraded main shaft in it. Otherwise, you likely would have snapped a stock tail shaft on a hard launch with launches like that!

This damage happened when accelerating from a roll while doing some tuning. I can't imagine what would have happened if I had some real traction. The GForce held up well for what it is. I have to say that I don't miss the gear whine.

They do whine a bit...
The TKX is rated at 600 ft/lbs TQ. The same as the TKO-600 that it replaced.
Hopefully that will be enough for you!

Enjoy!
