Well just temporarily,

I really like spring and thats why i have a vert so i'm gonna drop my NPI engine back in my car for a month or two so i can cruise...I already started so i'm hoping to have it on the road by saturday because i miss driving it. Maybe that will put a fire under my ass to send my aluminum block out to get machined and move forward with my plans.

Re: Going back to NPI

once you do it its kinda easy, i'm not a mechanic and don't have years of turning wrenches in the garage but i did alot of reading and then when you actually do it everything makes sense.

My NPI stuff was just laying around in the garage so i just put it back on the shortblock and putting the engine in is kinda easy...i am almost done.

Damn. That's going to suck. When I sold my first Mustang (89 LX with 300 RWHP) and got a stock 88 GT it sucked. It seemed so slow!

Re: Going back to NPI

The new engine isn't built yet, i still need to send the block out for machine work. The problem is i can't make up my mind on what direction to go. I have a Teksid block and a forged Cobra crank and forged Manley rods/pistons but i think i should sell the pistons and send the block out to Big Bored to 304ci but i just can't decide....thats the hold up.

Re: Going back to NPI- Damn Gas Tank

So i got the engine in and working and decided to drop the fuel tank and swap in the 255 Walbro and i ripped the damn rubber grommet that goes into the tank from the filler neck...Now i have to wait until tomorrow to get one from Ford since none of the local joints have one....damn damn damn damn...:)
