Does anyone have experience with the goodyear hoses?

I am installing a new radiator and water pump. In the process I plan on installing new hoses so I have one less thing to worry about. I have read about them on various retail websites, but I have never talked with anyone about whether these things are worth the price.

I'm sure they are just fine too, but they cost $90 a set, compared to about $25 for the same hoses from a parts house. I was just was curious what would be gained by spending the extra cash. My car is the same as yours, 125 tho on the od with the original hoses, I just figure I might as well replace them since I am doing this other work.

I don't see any other benefit than getting a hose but in color. I don't want to pay $90 for a hose that cost 3 times less at a parts store. Have you looked at the chrome piece that replaces the hose. I've seen it on several foxes.
