GT 40 heads & intake

My friend has a motor out of an Explorer. I'm told it has the GT40 stuff on it. He'll sell me the whole motor for 400 bucks. What year Explorer heads/intake would fit on my mustang? And what do I have to do other than put them on? Are there any supporting mods needed to perform this swap?

Damn I forgot the years. Thats an awesome deal man. Just look to see if it says GT or GTP. Either one will fit your mustang. I dont remember if they had different heads other the then GT40 and P heads though. If its the P heads then headers is the only thing for those other then the usual stuff and the intake would just be an elbow or a Fox style TB setup.
