GT40 springs

So I have my Gt40 heads and I'm getting them all cleaned and redone. The guy at the shop who builds fords said to get springs from a z28 camaro and they would help a lot more than the ford racing springs. Any truth to this? Has anyone done this?

I'm using Comp springs on my GT40's # 926-16 for mopar heads they fit perfectly. The seat load is 109 lbs and open is 317 lbs@ 1.300''.

I'd just get the TFS kit and call it good. They work great.

Just get some TFS or Cranes. No bullshit and it works.
