Man, I cannot thank you enough. Those are just what I needed. So it looks like it cleared the center console stuff with little trouble. Did you have to trim the front cup holder or was that just for the gauge?
Not a problem. Yes the front cup holder bottom area is compromised slightly by the shifter cable arm attachment. So it made a great place to put my trans gauge or later my boost controller!
I bought one of the 99-04 rubber inserts and put it into the rearmost cup holder and it works good for holding any size cup I might use now. Lots of little cuts to make that Lokar shifter work but that shifter is the bomb for small fitments and usage in our setups.

Quick update on the TTSaleen.
Took the family to dinner in it on Saturday night.

Then on Sunday, I put on my Bogarts and Hoosier slicks and went to the track.
Got my best times so far under less than ideal conditions.
Car setup -
93 octane
17.5# boost
Only stalls at 3200 on transbrake so it leaves really soft.
1st pass - 1.58 sixty foot time and went a 6.13 @ 121mph. 1/4 mile sensors were not working unfortunately.
2nd pass - 1.47 sixty foot time, but spun badly in 2nd, pedaled it twice went a 6.61 @ only 112mph but still went a 9.98 @ 147mph in the 1/4.
I feel like on the 1st pass it could have gone mid 9's around 150-155mph.

Anyway, it was awesome to be back in my old car and on the track. I never built it to be a track car only a street car. It sure TWISTS up on the launch with only subframe connectors and no rollcage. LOL!!!!

Mine has a stock converter and leaves at 2500ish. So I know what you mean by soft launch. Car is beautiful and moving out. First pass should have been around a 9.50 at 150 or so. Bet you were stoked.

Back to working on the TTSaleen for 2023.
It's finally getting a proper transmission after all these years.
I've got a TH400 now that will be going in soon. Just waiting on the torque converter to be built (4 week leadtime).

Removed the T56 Magnum from the car.
Started to do a Quick mock up with the TH400.
Still waiting on the Circle D converter and sent the specs to my driveshaft builder today (that is about 2 weeks to get back).
So hopefully by end of this month it will be moving again this time with the TH400.

Love it! I’m sure this thing is going to fly when it’s dialed in. Did you go manual valve body? Trans brake?

hopefully your driveshaft dude isn't like mine was. He told me a week, after a week he said he was having some machine issues and it would be two weeks. A week after that he said he was still having issues. After 3 weeks I called him and told him that I had already talked to the shop across town and while I would hate to make the drive I will be in tomorrow at 3pm to either pick up and pay for your work, or to pick it up and and take it across town. Amazingly it was done at 2:30.

Yes full manual with brake.
I also have a dump valve solenoid I am adding to it.

They just called me yesterday and said my driveshaft is ready to pickup! I'm stoked!
I'm trying to get outta work to get it by tomorrow! Still waiting on Circle D to ship the converter (was told it should ship out by end of this week).

My wife hasn't rode in my car in a while.
I've recently put the TH400 in it and it's pretty fast on the street.
She was "reacquainted" with the car very quickly. LOL.

Combo - 5.4 4-valve head modular with twin 67mm turbos.

Got the TTSaleen on they dyno since I've made a bunch of changes in the last 2 years.
Rebuilt engine, new injectors and fuel system, new Holley Terminator X computer system, E85 conversion, and Turbo 400 transmission.

Latest update on the TTSaleen and probably last one for the year.
1100rwhp and 900rwtq.
Still not maxed out as it has some slight spark blowout on the 30# pull.
