I have a hard spot in my gas pedal at idle and after I let off the gas. I have to push hard on the pedal to get it through that hard spot then I can use the throttle. When I first got the car it didn't have this problem I've only had it since October and this only started a bout two months ago. I think it has something to do with the throttle body but I'm not sure if anybody has any ideas please let me know thanks.

sounds like the blade in the throttle body is sticking
or the cable itself
remove the throttle cable and push and pull-on cable make sure its not binding up
and then go to the throttle body try rotating the plate on throttle body without engine running
see if a smooth rotation is
those can bind up if not maintained
a bent shaft on the throttle body blade can cause problems

If your throttle body is dirty and has never been cleaned, that could cause the sticking. Make sure you use a solvent that is safe for the coating that is on the throttle body. It helps it stay clean for longer.
