So i fixed a whole bunch of vacuum leaks, i replaced maf, iac, new fuel pressure reg, and fuel pump, i put msd cap and rotor and also msd coil and i got my timing all right but the car will idle fine in park alittle bit of surging but nothing to really worry me and then when i put it into drive or reverse it trys stalling every 5 seconds and i looked at my negative terminal and it melted what should i be looking for as the issue for the stalling and the melted terminal

Woah! You looked at the negative terminal and it melted?!? Where’d you get the superpower?

Any way you could post up a picture of your melted terminal? A lot of times they melt because of a bad ground path. So that could be a loose ground, or a dirty ground. I would start there and that could solve the surging issue.

Like the other replies bad grounds are BAD and can cause any kind of bad thing to happen, including what you have experienced.
