Now recently I've been having starter issues. If my car is in park or neutral my starter stays engaged. Any other gear such as D, R, 2, and 1. It stops engaging. Now recently I was on my way home and I was sitting in traffic (Drive obviously) and the starter engages and starts grind off my flywheel. So, ASAP I pulled off and shut my car off. But when I shut my car off my starter was still getting power, even with my key out of the ignition. I disconnected my battery and it then stopped. Now, I gave it some time to cool down and after that I put my positive terminal back on the battery, the second I did that my starter got power, attempting to crank my car over, mind you, my keys were in my pocket. After this, I tried something else, before I hooked up the battery I took out my starter relay. Once I did that I put my positive terminal back on and the starter still was receiving power trying to crank my car. I've posted on other forum websites and got things such as, a bad starter solenoid, bad ignition switch, bad grounds and shorted fuse box with melted fuses. I am on my 4th starter with this stuff so I know its not just the solenoid, I would get new OEM starters from rockauto and other websites so I know I'm not getting cheap made junk starter from local auto parts stores such as autozone, o'rileys etc. Second off, I've replaced my ignition switch recently so it is brand new. I've checked all my grounds and they are all perfect and tighten down etc. Nor is my fuse box or any fuse melted or blown. Now, after this explaining here are my thoughts, I think I have a bad positive wire and it shorted out somewhere along the wire going to the starter, If anyone has had similar problems or would like to give their thoughts of what else I should try that be very much appreciated.</p></blockquote><p></p>
