Trickflow top end etc. I just ordered a Mishimoto radiator in hopes to make my car run cooler. I'm still using a stock replacement, and I know thats not up to par for a HCI car. What kinda water temps do you guys see? I'll see 210-220 easy, and on the highway it got up to 230 but it was like 97 degrees out and my air deflector came off, so that doesn't help. Fans work, tstat works, hoses are new, I already did a coolant flush, new water pump etc. Normal for these HCI cars to run hotter? I'd like to drop the temp to like 200 if possible. The cars temp does cool down like it should, but 215-230 seems scary to me.

mine could get up to the 220 range but 225 was the very most and normally only for short bursts. The air dam is VERY important on these cars as you said, what thermostat are you running?

If I remember right its a 180 tstat. When I get the new radiator I'll swap a new 180 in, cheap enough.

Since you have a 180 T stat in there, did the tuner adjust for the fan to come on sooner?

I believe he did, I forgot though. Last night it was around 75 to 80 and the car got up to 190 tops. Today it was closer to 90 and after over an hour of stop and go traffic it got up to 220.
