Well Im looking at some longtube headers next. What brand do you guys recommend? Will it make me exhaust note any different? I was looking at some BBK Longtubes, but Im not sure. Help! ???

well I will tell you flowtech sells a really good header it's cheap and easy to install. But most would disagree with me!!

Really? I was gonna ask about them since they are cheap compared to SLP and the other big names.

SLP are the most expensive I think, arent they around 600 for a set of long tubes ???

I have BBK longtubes myself, I paid 300 for them and I like them just fine :bunny3:

600 where? From the sites I've been looking at (summitt, mustangtuning) they are close to $800 :eek:.

I could be wrong but im thinking I seen them somewhere for 600 :dunno: let me look and see :-\

Its ok, Im probally just gonna go with Flowtech or BBK.

the differences between flowtech and bbk is for on flowtechs driver side is a two piece design which is what makes the instalation easier. the bbk is a one piece and tuck up agains't the block and the flotech wrap around the steering bbk is tucked behind it. which vorh are good and both are bad. then flowtech has your standard 3 bolt header flange design bbk is your bal knuckle style two bolt. again both are good but I find the flowtech to be more universal in the part I like both. But I love my flowtechs!!

What kind of gains did you see with the ol' flows???? I was thinkin about gettin the same! And where did you get them?

Apreciate it man I had no clue autozone sold performance parts! Are they usually cheaper then summit?

yes an no but I did them a few times cuz they got it there next day no charge
