So I've heard that the 96-98 can benefit pretty substancially from replacing the stock heads with what i think was called Bheads (99+ heads) and then replacing the 94-98 intake manifold with the 99+ manifold.. Why are people going this route rather than just buying some aftermarket heads with an aftermarket manifold? Are there lots of cheap Bheads out there? How much power would the swap open up? i assume youd have to get your chip reburned after a swap like that especially if it brings it much more air, but are there any other necessities for that installation? are the stock 24# 96-98 injectors sufficient for that much air? I'm just looking to learn about the options!

96-98 have "B" heads, the 99 and 01 are "C" heads.

In my opinion unless you can get them used cheap thet're not worth it.
If I was to do a head swap I would go with Mach 1 stuff. The cam profile gives a better HP and TQ curve than the 99&01 Cobra heads do.

Injectors are fine, you would have to use your fuel rails also.
Would need a tune due to removing the IMRCs.
