I picked up some cheap heat barrier just to suppliment the mass back carpet I ordered. I've seen a few videos that say to spray down the carpeted side and have the foil side up, but that was for sound deadening. I'm looking for heat resistance so it says to put the foil side down on the floorboard. OK I got that, but will just regular spray adhesive work or should I use a thermal tape instead? It's just going over the trans tunnel and the front floorboard.

i'd just use thermal tape. easier to take off if you ever need to. only need it to just not move around on you.

Awesome thanks. Thats what I was looking for. Wasn't sure if spraying the entire thing was worth it.
