Broke the heater core return line off last night. It broke on the plastic part of the 90 degree. Do I need to purchase the hose with the plastic clip on the end like the own or can I use a hose from the parts store and use hose clamps at firewall?

Do you have a picture of where it broke? I don't remember mine ever having any plastic pieces, mine is all push on hose with a clamp on it.

I don't have a picture of the piece broken on the car. This is the replacement hose. It broke on the 90 degree plastic piece. It's a push lock style like a fuel rail.

Interesting. I don't have anything like that on my 98 and my old 02 didn't have it either. Both of mine had regular heater hose with a clamp, so I will venture to say that you can do the same.
