Hello! Hope all of you are well. Been a huge fan of the 03 04 cobra since, well, it came out while I was in high school. I think this is the year I’ll be getting into one.

Now for the fun part, I LOVE the Saleen Cobra. And given their rarity and the state of the used car market now, they’re at a price point I’m just not willing to pay. I’m already willing to pay a premium for a clean cobra. So, I know people throw Saleen parts on their stangs, and was planning to do the same to mine.

I in no way shape or form am wanting to try and pass it off as a real Saleen Cobra. I’m just very very enthusiastic about the look of it all- and of course the cobra itself!

I have heard 1st party Saleen parts do in fact have horrible fitment…so ANY advice in advance or pointing me in the right direction is GREATLY appreciate it.

Pull a Carrol Shelby

There was a Dodge Shelby (sold by Dodge w/his moniker) and a Shelby Dodge (sold by Shelby w/Shelby VIN, etc.)...so just call it a Cobra Saleen instead of a Saleen Cobra lol.

In all seriousness, what makes it special is that it YOUR dream, not anyone else's. You stick to that and you really will have something VERY special!

Forget the purists. They care more about cars than they care about you / your dream.

Thank you for all the love! Some pics of my old rides. This will also be my first American V8, so I’m pretty excited about that. BMW’s S65 V8 is nothing to scoff at, but I’m ready for the American V8 experience now.
