Need help installing a 5" tach in the 98. What wires do i hook it to?

Behind the passenger side kick panel in the ECU compartment there's an accessory harness that has an orange wire with a white stripe. Splice into this. O0

Thanks bow, just installed a phantom 5" tach from autometer >:D

i'd rather keep my raptor shift light in my a/c vent and not look like i want to race all the time.... :dunno:

meh, this is the first time i've ever had one, and once i get some more things done, i'll end up at the track ALOT

I had a 5" shiftlite tach in one of my older mustangs. It's like a mustang right of passage, you'll own only one cause you'll get tired of that gawdy thing on your dash and how much it makes you look like a ricer.

LOL yea.. well it comes in handy though.. noticed my stocker is OH SO SLOW in response to the RPM's.. and there off by atleast a couple hundred at idle.. all i want is a good set of gauges all the way around.

i had some trouble installing my autometer, i couldn't get the needle to dial in right, but i figured it out. tieing those little wires together... uh ya.
