Appreciate it. I hope to make some progress in the coming months, get it tuned in the spring, and make some passes. I enjoy her a lot but I'd also like to start a notch project.

Well the hood decided to go through the windshield the other day. The wind was pretty nasty and I was going 80 or so. Must have been the holes I put in the cowl. So I have a black stocker for now, might get another cowl once it warms up and I get the time to paint it. Have a new fender waiting for paint as well. Put a new MSD dizzy and some wire separators in the cold today. Long list when I get my tax check including swapping back to a SRA. Hopefully the track opens up in about a month.

Why are you thinking about going back to the solid axle?

To free up some cash for the car and a SRA should be a little better on the track. Planning to add 3.93s and lakewoods (maybe coilovers), drag bags, and some differed front springs.

So I think I'm going to give up the IRS once I find the time away from school to get home and take it out. That should help free up the cash to get some drag springs, lakewood (50/50s 70/30s), wideband, full length subframe connectors and a quarterhorse. But before all that I still need to change the transfluid, get the old cap and rotor off, find the leak in my radiator, adjust the clutch, add a line lock, get an alignment and ball joints, and maybe find another hood.

sucks about your hood slap!

2 project cars at the same time is rough, (speaking from experience)

which hood are you going with?

Just went through your thread and you need a tune and that car will be a different animal for sure. I'm suprised you have not blown a head gasket without a tune call willie at dirty dirty racing and get a Quarter horse and what size injectors do you have i will send you a tune file for either 42lb or 60lb injectors that is dialed and watch you smile after you install that but you need a wide band bad. I have a non weld in 02 wide band bung all sell stupid cheap brand new in the package if you want it? Hit me up. love your car its very clean for sure.
