Ok does anyone know what the 9th wire is for? All 8 are connected but one isn't.

It's in the pic with all the butt connectors it's the purple one that's ripped.

I don't see a purple wire that isn't connected in the pic but purple is normally the passenger rear speaker output if its on the aftermarket harness, if its a stock harness it could be anything.

Ok I got this side of the harness off and was wondering if anyone knows what this bare wire is for? Is it a ground? Anyways I'm hoping to yank out the seats and console so I can have a comfortable place to stretch out so I can get this thing back together.
