I have a 97 gt with a 97 cobra fuel rail and the vacuum line is going straight from the intake to the regulator because I took all my egr stuff off.
When I’m at idle it is running super rich.
How can I fix this?

Have you measured fuel pressure?

How are you running a cobra fuel rail on a 2v?

What injectors did you install?

Well after my cobra motor blew I couldn’t find a cobra engine at a good price so I put a 2v in it with all the necessary parts. I didn’t switch it to a return less fuel system so I just put the cobra rail and kept the fuel system.
Not sure about the injector size but they are bigger than stock.
Also don’t have a gauge to measure the pressure
Edit: just checked and they are stock cobra injectors 24/Lb
Not the stock 2v 19/Lb ones

97 2v has return and feed on fuel lines
97 cobras have return and feed
Your using a 2v intake it should be ok
But installingmountimg wise you figure that out

And it may be to much fuel psi injectors
You could put a regulator in the feed

There may be some others with some ideas to help
This is just one

Can you take some pictures? The b head cobra rail shouldn’t be able to work on the 2v intake, but I could be wrong.

Has the car been tuned? Is it on the 2v computer or the cobra computer?

What is the mod history on this thing?

Since you deleted the EGR and have a straight vacuum line to the regulator, your fuel pressure might be too high at idle. Try running a proper vacuum source from the manifold (not just straight intake) to the regulator. Also, check if your O2 sensors are working if they’re bad or unplugged, the ECU will default to rich. A tune would help if you’ve removed emissions stuff.
