Hmm.. so I want to drift.. with this..

Hello all,
I'm Carlos and just recently acquired a 98 gt. Traded my stockish Nissan 240sx for this gt as a parts car. The original plan was to stuff the power/drive train into something else. Then realized no one in my area is drifting a mustang. So now I come to you guys and gals asking how to make my sn95 with 4.6 reliable and fun for everyday use.

Thanks in advance to everyone and this forum for helping me reach my dream of drift and doing it in an unconventional drift chassis.

Welcome! I don't drift, but think that sliding a Mustang sideways is great project.

It's an unconventional car for drifting for sure. I do recall seeing a SN95 drifting on YouTube, it had the "drift missile" look and didn't seem to have any trouble getting it sideways.

I imagine some weight reduction, chassis bracing, and suspension upgrades should get you most of the way there.

But hey what do I know, I've only ever drifted mine in the rain
