How fast have you had your Mustang?

hahahahaha...Buddy, ive lived in hawaii for 18 years....born and raised. There is a TON of things thats screwed up about this state, you do nt even want to know.

The H3 is a long highway, but the state spending on roads sucks....we have the worst roads in the US.

Our only track, Hawaii Raceway Park, closed down last year because the guy that owns it didnt wanna renew the lease and follow EPA rules,

I beleive it was around 143 with the stock rearend in my 94 gt. That took alot of road and it wasnt a smooth ride. Since then I put 4.10s in and that put an end to top end speed. I think it stops around 127 now but its been a bit since ive done that, got two kids now and want to be around for em.

Pegged my Turbo V6 @ 120, and was still going strong for a few a bit before i pussed out. The road in Nebraska are ROUGH.

It doesn't count sice its not on the road, but i had the speedo @ the dyno to 170+ during a run when i caught a passing glance at it. I'm not sure of what the limits a stock 4r70w and stock V6 gears are, though i'd imagine i was pretty close to popping the tranny.

that's the good thing about open road racing... you get to do this over 118 miles, shoulder to shoulder, no oncoming traffic and the cops on the side of the road smile and wave as you go by. O0

when my speedo pegged at 150 my rpm's were just about 3600 and i started to slow down at just about 4100 rpm's, so i really dont know how fast i've actually gone, this was in my 94 gt, automatic with when i still had the stock 2.73 gears, but now i have 4.10's and a shorter tire, so i dont really go over 80/85 mph

Hit roughly 145 or so on Saturday. I live about 1.5miles from the Tenn/VA boarder, so if the cops come, just move up the road a little. The part of the interstate I done it on is about 2 miles long, fairly straight. Started from an 85mph roll though, I was coming home from picking up a friend.

100mph, that was downhill, getting past a guy that almost ran me off the road. Lame, yes, but I got a ticket for 95 in a 70 a few years back in my bro's 95 Silver T/A 6-speed and that was enough to stop me. Before that though, I got to 170mph on my motorcycle before the damn limiter kicked on... :lame:
