How fast have you had your Mustang?

Couldn't look at the speedo after 130 on both cars. Probably will never do it again since its just stupid to go that fast being that if I crashed, I had a 90% chance of dieing, and I'd like to enjoy driving my mustangs and other fast cars for years to come.

In hawaii you guys wouldnt even call our highways freeways.....fricking narrow and short, off ramps and on ramps every 3 or 4 miles.....

But anyway....

Fastest ive had my 98 was 85 MPH. thats right, 85 MPH. Our only track closed down, soo we cant speed legally. We have a long highway called the H3, tols of people do top speed runs, but that highway is always monitored by cameras, and you never k now where the cops are....and we have a super strict law on excessive speeding too. The freeways are always so damn clogged. too much damn people in hawaii, lol

One of these days....ill take that bitch to the limit....Legally.

It's too crowded in Hawaii, and most of the drivers are old people, asians, and tourists.....The top 3 "WORST DRIVERS EVER!!"

had the 6er up to 113 and then my governor kicked in...on multiple occasions...in my friends GT we raced an eclipse GT and were goin like 130-140 before we realized he was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back there :hammer:

i raced an evo 9 and topped out my speedo. my buddy in the evo said his speedo said 155, and i was 1/2 car in front of him at 5500 rpms. since that race i have taken my car to 5900, so i'd say roughly 160. my friends say i drive "Nascar Fast" :santa_grin*:

I just over 170 in my 05... with the 4.30's

it was buried in 5th gear for a good while and was about to touch the limiter in OD

only reason i even know that, since the stock speedo pegs at 145 is because a friend of mine in his Evo 8 was with me and his digi read 178 and his stocker goes to 180 and read about 172.
He was over 7000 rpm in 5th gear

it was dumb and crazy... but a fuckin blast at the same time.

The 05 was actually pretty damn smooth, but it was pretty new still.

i know this for a fact, lol. 17in GTs are governed at 146 i think. lol. (tire rating is the reason)

It had waffle wheels on it when I got it....16inchers

^ see ive heard that before. i dont know why but some GT's are limited and the others arent.
it makes no sence to me! lol. i read that the 16in'rs are supposed to be governed at 120, but
ive heard people say theirs went faster then that. confuses the s*** outta me.

~90 on the highway... I've been ticket-free for almost a year and a half and want to keep it that way. Plus, the front-end needs to be redone anyway, and I'm on snow tires, no sense going much faster.

132 in my almost stock v6 while racing a turbo talon i had the top down and running at 4500 rpm had to slow down for the exit it was the best feeling ever that was on the a highway i did 120 with 2 freinds in the car the first night i had the car
