I just over 170 in my 05... with the 4.30's

it was buried in 5th gear for a good while and was about to touch the limiter in OD

only reason i even know that, since the stock speedo pegs at 145 is because a friend of mine in his Evo 8 was with me and his digi read 178 and his stocker goes to 180 and read about 172.
He was over 7000 rpm in 5th gear

it was dumb and crazy... but a fuckin blast at the same time.

The 05 was actually pretty damn smooth, but it was pretty new still.

170mph w/ 4.30 gears, I am not buying it. Unless you have done some serious work to the engine and suspension. Just my 2cents though

I've decided that when my car can accelerate above 100mph faster than it does now (which is about as fast as a souped-up cavalier) I'll do high-speed runs.

haha, thats true...very good point.

I think cavaliers are limited to 105 haha...the newer ones are atleast.. 04
