Sell your car and buy a 94-95 GT. I will be alot easier and cheaper.

Well the 4.6 has 136k miles on it. Is a bit harder to find anything for...other than the PI swap. And I thought about getting a 95 but i like this car and i could get a built 5.0 with alot more power alot cheaper than a used engined 94 95 gt....

It would be hard enough that its not worth it. Like others have said, just sell the 96, and buy a 94,95

Just look around a bit, these 4.6s are getting more and more popular, and there are starting to be more and more places making parts for them.

that's true, some of you guys may be a little too young to remember but the aftermarket for the 5.0 took a few years to get going after the 87GT came out. Same with the 4.6 cars (although its took a little longer ) the parts are getting better all the time and becoming more available.

Personally, I'd hang onto the '96 and do the swap, just for the challenge of the project - but that's the kinda guy I am...

^^^ I like the way you think...............I would keep the 4.6 tho..........There are a good many OHC parts out there not. Also to me If your gonna go FI any time the 4.6 will shine over the 5.0. Don't get me wrong the push rod motor can be made to run good with FI. If you are dead set on it this is how I would play it. Find you a 351 block, have it bored and cleaned up. Build that while you run your 4.6. IMO a stock 5.0 swap is not worth it.
