You guys wont believe me.........this is my tenth one. My first was in 97 I got a new V-6 for Graduation. From there (soon also, 3 months) it was hit and totaled, got my first GT had it for 1 month and got side swiped and after it was repaired, the paint started cracking and flakeing off  , traded it in at the same Ford lot that did the work (got a great deal too, wonder why?) Made a mistake and got a automatic Blue 98GT, traded it about 2 weeks later for another 98GT Rio Red manual. I kept that one for almost a year, sold it and got a 95GT that was my first pushrod stang. Traded that one on a 96 cobra, kept it for 6 months, once again got nailed and totaled it (by the way I was NEVER at fault in my wrecks, THANK GOD) and picked up a 98 Cobra. On the side got a 91GT convertable, that I kept for one summer and sold it. Sold my Cobra in the winter of 2001 and bought a 92GT and built the piss out of it, sold it last year to a friend and here I am now with another 98GT, but on this car it has been built also, that was Never done on any of the other ones. Other than the few wrecks I had that caused me to get a new car, the only thing I can say is I was young and stupid. For a 19 year old, staying at home with the parents and makeing 30 thousand a year...........what the hell else was I going to do with my money? Looking back I would give my left nut if I could have back all the money I spent on downpayments and the car payments I made. Oh well your only young once right, and I can honestly say I enjoyed my youth. You know how the stang attracts all the ladies right, I sure learned that in a hurry. :thumb:

WHere's Patrick?  He could probably win for the most in the shortest time period, or most by a given age.

Yeah, I really do miss the 68, I'd kill to have that one back, it was my favorite of all.  On my new ride (95 GTS), I'm doing a little horsetrading, I've got a  Audi A4  w/100,000+ miles on it, it's pretty clean, I'm giving him the car + $2,000 or so,  I'll have about $8,000 in it. I know that's a little high, but where else are you going to find a MINT 95 5.0 that they only made 344 of with only 32,000 miles on it?!!  I plan on mildly modifying it (3.55's, shifter, Pulley's, etc) & using it as my daily driver.

LOL...i thought i was the only one to start my stangin' with a 200c.i. I6

i've owned 5 cars...all Mustangs
car #1... 1981 Mustang hatch, I6. 4 speed, leather interior, t tops, and power windows (it was pretty much loaded for an '81) oh ya, and it only had 70k on it back in 97
car #2... 1982 Capri RS, 5.0, 4 speed. no bubble hatch, they didn't have them yet back in '82
car #3... 1989 Mustang coupe, 5.0, 5 speed
car #4... 1997 GT, 5 speed
car #5... 1998 Cobra (my current car)

i have no intentions of selling her. i'll keep it til its payed off, then i'll buy another cobra too!

I'd love to go with the 3.73's, but I commute 60 miles a day (oftentimes more) on the interstate & the 3.55's the perfect compromise.  I also know me & I know If I come into some money I'll add a supercharger or some other kind of power adder & the 3.55's will be all I'll need.
