how often do u change you oil?

ive changed mine since ive owned it for 4 years every 3000 - 4000 Kms ( 1800 - 2500 miles ) with quaker state 5W-30 conventional and a fram oil filter. Am i changing it too often? my friends say im wasting money doing that but i want my car to last long so what do u think? how often do you guys change your oil?

I change mine every 3000 miles unless I hit 3 months first! Then I change it after 3 months!

About 5-10 times per day. At work that is lol. For the stang so far every 3k. Didnt notice a difference when I switched from a fram to a motorcraft :-\

I use Mobil 1 synthetic which is good for about 5000 but i still change it every 3000. I just like changing it. I use fram and have never had a problem. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

No, that's actually not the case at all. Fram is the biggest piece of shit you can put in a car. They filter about half as good as the rest of them, and will come apart. EVERYTHING ELSE is better than Fram.

I use Pennsoil and a PureOne oil filter, but thats because my car has to many miles for synthetics. If I could I would be using M1/M1 in a heartbeat.

I was talking about the cam not Fram in paticular :santa_smiley: I never use fram so I cant speak for the quality of the product

Jeez and I thought I didn't drive my car much. I'm on pace to do about 2200 per year.

I change every 3000 miles with Valvoline Maxlife 10w40 and the crappy Fram filter (just learned they suck, so I guess I'll try something else).
Car has 139,100 today. I got it in May of '05 with 122,600 miles. She's the daily commute.
