Even something like this. 303 car, has a sweet supercharger. Needs paint. At the upper end of thr budget... can always sell thr blower for 2500 to pay for your paint supplies and possibly repair parts. Or you suck up the paint supplies cost and then have a great looking blown 302 car

You are fighting a hard battle. Buy the car, fix its imperfections, and enjoy it. Best thing I can tell you is look out for rust, especially by the strut towers and frame rails, and be weary of previous modifications.

I bought my car for 5500 CAD, and fixed it up for another 5500 CAD, and now it is basically mint on the inside, and mechanically is completely sound. Now I just enjoy it as much as I can until it falls in half, or until I sell it. Rust can work its magic as much as it wants. The undercarriage stays covered in fluid film.

I myself plan on maybe putting in some 3.55’s and leave everything else the way it is.

Also remember the location of these cars
In the dry heat interior takes a beating
So dose paint seals tires
Some are gorage keept those are the ones to get
You may pay more for one that has been babied
I do collect when I see them
I have had a lot more and sold a lot
Got more money than what I put into them
Time is coming when sns will be sold at top dollar
Like the the fox or any older mustangs
