how to program new keyless entry

I went to start
my car today after its been sitting for a week, last week it worked fine, so today my doors wouldnt unlock or alarm/ so i put new batteries in my keyless remote fob and still nothing so I bought a new keyfob from ford, I did what this video says about shorting out the pin in the drivers side trunk to reprogram my keyless entry and I dont hear a click or nothing, what else could be wrong? is there a fuse in the fuse box /engine bay that could be no good?

everything that is electronic I the car has a fuse. Don't bother with your manual just go and pull/inspect each fuse. It takes less time and you can be sure you checked the correct fuse

Thanks fuses were fine, I tryed the trick with a paper clip wasnt working like american muscle/ or ford says to do. So I used an old spoon and it worked instead lol smh. ghetto style lol
