I’m considering 1.5” hubcentric wheel adapters/spacers on the rear. I have 3/4” now and want a bit wider. Will this require longer studs? I got plenty of threads on with the 3/4” but thought I’d better ask when doubling to the 1.5” adapters.

I found a place online with great prices (even haveMustang stamped on them!)and am hoping they have 1.5” in black.

a spacer that large will have the studs build into it. Personally I would say to save your money for some wheels that would not need them

If you have 3/4 spacers without the lugs built in already and you have original lugs, you should only be able to safely fit 1/4 inch or 5/16 spacers. You should have a minimum of 6 threads showing thru the spacers. Here’s a 285 35 18 rim with 1/4 inch spacer.

1.5” spacers are getting to a dangerous sizing. Get some wider wheels if you want to be wider out back.
