A guy that's friends with the dude i bought the bullits from texted me today and wants to trade wheels straight up. I have no idea what to do. I just got these anthracite bullits but the rear 315 tires are bald and I love fr500s but the bullits are just now growing on me.... I figured a poll would do.

#1-Staggered Bullits - Pros: 10.5 rear wheel, super deep dish, anthracite color. Cons: Bald rear tires (315s=lots of $$$), slow leak on one front. Otherwise perfect.

#2-Staggered FR500s - Pros: My favorite mustang wheel, good tires on all 4. Cons - only 17x10 rears, FR500s look better in 18" form, or at least a smaller tire than he has on them.

I like both sets. 18s will be in my future but I've decided to have 2 sets of the same wheel. One set 18" the other 17".

I just kinda want a public opinion on which I should go with. I'd hate to regret it later because "bullits are way better," or something ya know? The tires are the main reason I'd go through with the trade. 315s aren't cheap so I need to commit to an 18" rear wheel to order.

Either of them is a good choice.
People will say the bullitts are over played and too common, I see fr500 just as much on here.

I think of those two pictures the fr500 look better.

I love bullits, FRs, all the mustang wheels. If I didnt have newer tires on my bullits I would probably trade for FRs myself..but Im waiting to find something different.

And if anyone was wondering that IS the actual set of FRs. Not just a white car I used for comparison. Heh. Was kinda weird when I got that pic in my texts.

To me it looks like your rear bullits are a little bit darker grey than the front. Might not be. Either way my vote would be the FR500's

And my opinion between the two is that I think the Bullits are more of a show car wheel and the FRs make the car look more like a road racer or something. The lip on a 10.5 is undeniably BAD ASS. I wish they made the FRs in that spec.

You sure the fr's are only 10" wide? I have never seen a 17x10 fr500, only 17x10.5 or 18x10.

Yea I think they may be. I noticed it this morning. I haven't cleaned them yet though and the rears aren't as exposed to the water on the roads so it could just be dust. Idk.

Yea. Those are the dimensions he gave me. I thought the did not offer the fr in 10.5, only 10"

Bullitts!! I love mine. FRs look sick too. They make the fr500s in 17x10.5

Well damn. I know there are more part spiraea than AM but when I searched their site a couple weeks ago I could not find em in 10.5. It could have been the certain color they didn't have at the time or something? I just couldn't find em so I assumed. This is good news though.

This guy specifically said 17x10s with a 285/40. They don't look he least bit stretched so I'd say its safe to call em 10".

Yeah they def could be x10s. Diff colors might have something to do with it. Depends on the company too

The bullits MAY be a little off color. Now I know damn well they are 10.5s cause it's got 315s and that big booty look.

I'm leaving this poll open on the account of these may be the 2 most popular SN95 & New edge wheels. I'd like to see the numbers get up there as they battle it out.

I bet I was looking at 18s then. It has to be where I'm getting that from. Thanks. I guess I'm pretty much sold on those wheels then.

Agree with OJ, both of those styles are way played out. But if I had to choose, FRs.
