Do you have spring isolators installed currently? If not, putting those below and above the spring will raise the car up some. I just recently did this to the rear of mine.

Yes I have both the upper and lower spring isolators fitted

I’ve most likely left something out but I think I’ve got all the bolt ins but cams now. just wish I went the supercharger route now from the beginning but that will hopefully be next year now till I get that done.

I assume the Nittos are Dr’s are they?
I ran Nitto 555 275/40/17 on 9” Cobra R’s on our 98 Vortech Cobra making 425 to the tires with 3:73 gears and had little traction issues - only when racing. We switched to 315/35/17 Nitto Dr’s on the same 9” Cobra Rs and had no traction issues at all.

Are you getting wheel hop or just blowing the tires off? Are the clutches in your posi unit in good shape. If you are doing a burnout do you get 2 solid black patches?

BTW Nitto Drs are a harder compound than M/Ts or BFGs and provide less traction.

BTW2 the pic below is our 95 Cobra with 315/35/17 On 10.5” Cobra R Rims. They worked well up to about 650RWHP. Fronts were 255/45/17 on 9” Cobra Rs
