i need to beat a g35

is this only attainable through a s/c system or can i hang with it with a full pi swap..... heads cams and intake. BTW the g35 has CAI, exhaust, pullies, plenum spacer and a chip...... Im looking to spend around 2 grand so should i go full PI swap, dyno tune, TB and plen and pullies..... What hp will i be at?

Probably anywhere from 270 - 300whp. I dunno if you'll be able to beat him though. Driver's racde?? :dunno:

Hello,

You must get up early to beat a G35, maybe if you add some parts like a S/C you will take the car for a quarter, but an Infinity G35 is a real sport car whit superior handling and also powerfull brake.

It's not the same budget, in fact you can't compare a G35 with a Mustang SN95 94-98, maybe a Cobra 96-98, but i'm not sure.

i went to the track last night. 3 g35 were there, the fastest went 14.7 at 94 mph.

I ran 8.9's in the 1/8 with the dealer tag still on it. It is a 07 g35 auto 4 door with all options. New edge cars run mid 9's at the track I run at.

i beat my buddys 4 door g35 we both had two people in the car....we started at 45mph and went to just over 100. the g35 coup is probably much faster tho.

From a roll is not a race. Put a s/c on there and you will have him for lunch. O0. I raced 3 of them in bracket and new i needed at least a car length to not break out and beat them. With them leaving the tree well before me. ^-^

uhh....I was not aware that people think g35s are fast ....I swear there was a post on here talking about beating a 350z with like no mods...

The 350z is the same engine..except lighter I thought?..... :dunno:

anyways ..they run low 14s generally...you will def. need some mods to beat one..probably gears and some pi parts

but hey...I beat them from a dig

I have a G35, or my wife does anyway, it's fast. When my car was stock, it would have totally smoked it. My butt chronometer is telling me 14 flatish with absolutely no mods on the G35. Or in other words, nearly a full second faster than a stock NPI. Mine is an auto, and rated at 270 flywheel hp, vs. NPI@215.
